What is Vitamin D3V?

Vitamin D3V is 100% algal-origin Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), and is available in the following formats and strengths:

Vitamin D3V  40miu/g Crystal
Vitamin D3V  1miu/g Oil
Vitamin D3V  100,000iu/g Microencapsulated Powder (CWS)

It is suitable for use across a wide range of Food, Nutraceutical and Animal Nutrition applications. Whereas in the past D2 (Ergocalciferol, a Vitamin D analog) has been used in vegetarian and vegan Vitamin D products, the suitability and bioavailability of D2 continues to be questioned. Vitamin D3V now offers the perfect universally-acceptable Vitamin D ingredient source, in the form the body naturally produces: D3 (cholecalciferol).

The origin of Vitamin D3V

Vitamin D3V is produced using 100% non-GMO algae. NMR testing has shown it is chemically-identical to animal sources of Vitamin D3 including sheep’s wool grease (lanolin) and animal carcasses.
